HOW WE GOT HERE. OUR STORY.

Building a Vision

Early 1980s

Four Colorado families merged together to build a vision of continuing care for seniors.

A 20-acre beautiful parcel was acquired in West Arvada, and their vision started to become a reality. As a way of giving back to the community, the Springwood owners donated 5 of the 20 acres to the City of Arvada. This would later become Stott Elementary School and Yankee Doodle Park.

Over the years, from 1987 to 2004, Springwood Retirement Campus was developed. It is now an award-winning community offering choice and value for seniors.
