Nightingale Lane is the most dynamic, timely and innovative community of its kind created for the senior with Alzheimer's and related dementia.  This uniquely designed environment integrates your loved one's private apartment into a village-like community.  
 
The experienced and attentive staff help the residents participate in a combination of activities each day that are emotionally soothing as well as mentally and physically stimulating.  Our floor plan actually encourages the resident's participation in a myriad of diverse activities that lift the spirit.  You may share in the sense of satisfaction your family member derives as he or she is gently guided to have a full and happy day. We expect that the residents will need some assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing and medication management so those are included in our basic monthly fee.  Each resident has their own care plan to carefully meet their needs.


Nightingale Lane at Springwood provides a comforting environment. All the private apartments open into the great room where your loved one socializes with other residents in the living room, kitchen or dining area. Or he or she may chose to participate in a painting class with a volunteer from the Alzheimer's Association Memories in the Making program, stimulating activties in the Ice Cream Parlor, watching the lovely birds in the Aviary, or taking a stroll outside to view the gazebo and garden area. Exercise classes, music programs, twice weekly scenic drives,religious services and intergenerational activities enrich the life at Nightingale Lane.
