Since its doors opened in 1986, Springwood Retirement Campus has been the number one choice for carefree, comfortable living among the region's most discriminating older adults.

Springwood Retirement Campus is the result of an Arvada business man who wanted to give something back to the community he loved. He joined forces with three others, who together, designed, built, decorated and continue to manage this jewel of Arvada.

Through the years Springwood Retirement Campus has grown and adapted to the needs of the community. Springwood began with the comfortably elegant Springwood Apartment Homes for seniors who were independent but wanted some services. As Springwood residents and community seniors continued to age and need more assistance, the owners developed and opened Nightingale Suites at Springwood, a bright, cheery, active assisted living residence. Along with a growing need for assisted living, there were the seniors who were just beginning to desire a lifestyle with fewer home responsibilities but still retain a home like feel to where they settled. The Cottages at Springwood were created. Beautiful, spacious duplexes where residents could still live in their own home but enjoy the benefits of a retirement community. Over the years, another part of the senior population was developing a great need. Those with Alzheimer's Disease. Out of this need came Nightingale Lane at Springwood , one of the most innovative communities for people with Alzheimer's. The newest and final addition to Springwood Retirement Campus is The Fountains at Springwood. This recently opened, dynamic apartment home with optional services is the perfect solution for many seniors who are active, independent and ready to make a change.
